about Jeroen van Gennep
Jeroen cares deeply about the impact of data and AI and it is the core of his work and further interests.
Jeroen is a result-driven manager and startup founder with over 10 years of experience in commercial & data leadership roles. Jeroen fosters deep and broad know-how in devising data and AI strategy, operational implementation and driving technological solutions. Currently, Jeroen is a Senior Value Architect at Dataiku, where he supports enterprise customers in the FSI, Renewable Energy, and CPG space on the value creation and value capture of their data, Machine Learning and GenAI endeavours.
In parallel Jeroen is a political economist specialising in the impact of data and AI on our economy and work. Having published articles in leading national newspapers in the Netherlands, including NRC-Handelsblad, de Volkskrant, de Telegraaf, het Parool, as well as regional newspapers: Leeuwarder Courant and Dagblad van het Noorden. He obtained his degree in International Political Economy from the University of Oxford and graduated cum laude for his BA in Economics, Political Science & Statistics from University College Utrecht.
In his spare time, Jeroen is an avid indoor cycling instructor, using the FTP (Functional Threshold Power) data-centric methodology for effective workouts. He is a Keiser® certified indoor cycling instructor. Jeroen lives in London, U.K. together with his wife and son.
